So, maybe I should try another shoe to at least rotate with. I only had one normal looking nail before Sunday's race, and that one is sore now. While the Hokas I use are pretty good, my toes & nails are a mess from all the rocks and stuff. I think I will leave them to one side until I see the wear pattern on the new ones. Evil coach 1 says he knows someone who has had it done and the only thing he said was that they weigh more than the original ones. I stopped at one point to respond to a text from my husband and turned around to see the bald eagle looking down at me from a dead tree right over me! It was awesome, I had thought about going back to where I saw him before and then he was there and so much closer.Ībout the shoe soles, it seems this place does a lot of trail shoes. I had a great run and other than my hips feeling tight initially nothing hurt. When I looked up red foxes in CA and listened to recordings of them I knew for sure that is what it was. I heard the most bizarre noise outside and saw a critter getting a drink from our pool. In all the years we have lived here we have never had foxes that I am aware of until last night. Great job It is good to take it easy like you did and not pushing it even when you feel like you it is so funny that you mention foxes and foxes. I have never seen anyone actually with a broom like that. So funny about your sweeper at the races. Has anyone in your running group had it done? I would also hope that Hoka would get back to you too. Thanks for setting us up for June - I was going to do it if no one else - I have had other shoes resoled but have never heard it as a thing for running shoes.
